MAYOR FUHRIMAN ANNOUNCES 2010 MAYOR’S SCHOLARSHIP FUND

APPLICATION PROCESS AND DEADLINE

Idaho Falls Mayor Jared Fuhriman has released information on the 2010 Mayor’s Scholarship Fund Program. There are three different scholarships available for local students. (1) 2010 Idaho Falls Mayor’s Senior Scholarship is for graduating seniors. (2) 2010 Idaho Falls Mayor’s “Justin N. Overley” Senior Scholarship is for graduating seniors as well. (3) 2010 Idaho Falls Mayor’s Promise Award is for students in Grades 8-11, who will pursue a college career.

 The amount of the 2010 awards is dependent upon the funds received through annual contributions. Applications are due by the end of the school day on February 12, 2010 to school guidance counselors or District 91 Administrative Offices, located at 690 John Adams Parkway, in Idaho Falls.
