Rimrock Elementary School

Rimrock is an elementary school nestled against the foothills east of Idaho Falls. Construction began on Rimrock in the fall of 2005, and 420 students attended their first day of classes September 5th, 2006.

Located in a subdivision off 21st Street in Ammon, Idaho, Rimrock stands adjacent to several new housing developments under construction in this rapidly growing area. Rimrock has already grown to bursting and divided once.  Our school currently enjoys a student population of 406 students who attend three sessions of kindergarten, three 1st grade classes, two 2nd grade classes, three 3rd grade classes, and two 4th-6th grade classes.  Our school also houses a pre-school program for deaf and blind children.  Our teachers are a dedicated, playful and enthusiastic bunch who love children and go the extra mile to offer meaningful and rigorous academic challenges.  An involved and inventive PTO blesses Rimrock staff and students with rich and enjoyable activities and productive fundraising events to help Rimrock meet the instructional and learning needs of our teachers and students.

Families are always welcome and Moms and Dads are encouraged to volunteer in the classroom to help our students achieve their highest potential.  Parents are, in truth, a child's first, best teacher.

We--all Rimrock stakeholders together--are committed to providing a safe place where our children can blossom in a garden of academic rigor and love.
