Rimrock Elementary School

School Performance Report

Rimrock is a new elementary school nestled against the foothills east of Idaho Falls. Construction began on Rimrock in the fall of 2005, and 420 students attended their first day of classes September 5th, 2006.

Located in a lovely subdivision off 21st Street in Ammon, Rimrock stands adjacent to several new housing developments under construction in this rapidly growing area. Our school currently enjoys a student population of 545 students, but expects this number to steadily grow as new families join us. Rimrock offers four kindergarten sections, four 1st and third grades, and three 2nd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade classes.  Our teachers are a dedicated, playful and enthusiastic sort who love children and go the extra mile to challenge them in the classroom.

An involved and inventive PTO blesses Rimrock students with rich and enjoyable activities, as well as meaningful fundraising events to help Rimrock meet the instructional and learning needs of our teachers and students.

Families are always welcome and parents are encouraged to volunteer in the classroom to help our students achieve to their highest abilities.

We--all Rimrock stakeholders--are together building a great educational institution, a place where kids can blossom in a garden of academic rigor and love.

What is Rimrock about? Loving and challenging our students.
