Woodland Hills Elementary School

General School Information

School Performance Report

Woodland Hills Elementary opened its doors to students for the first time on September 5th, 2006. Our school is located at the southern tip of Bonneville School District. We have 480 kindergarten through sixth grade students, 21 highly qualified teachers, a full time counselor, and 14 support staff. Our goal is to provide academic rigor to challenge each student so they may achieve their highest potential. Our faculty and staff collaborate to provide a safe and exciting learning environment where strong character and strong bodies are developed, as well as a life-long love of learning.

Our parents and grandparents at Woodland Hills are involved in many volunteer activities including reading with students in classrooms, delivering Fine Arts Mini Education lessons to every grade monthly, and organizing fundraisers to support student activities. We welcome parental involvement because when a child sees that education is a high priority to their parents, it becomes a high priority in the child's life as well. Our parents, volunteer Foster Grandparents, and university students work in concert with our superb teachers to implement effective research-based teaching strategies for our students. We see our first year as an opportunity to instill a tradition of educational excellence at Woodland Hills Elementary.
