School Performance Report
Lincoln High School opened its doors in the fall of 1995 with an initial enrollment of approximately 180 students. The original location of the school was in the old Fairview South Elementary building located on Telford Rd. in Idaho Falls. In the fall of 1996 the school was moved to its permanent location on Lincoln Rd. in the town-site of Lincoln.
Lincolnis an alternative high school designed to meet the needs of students who have dropped out of the traditional high school. The student population is primarily composed of 10th - 12th grades and enrollment is approximately 180 students.
The school year at Lincoln is divided into thirteen blocks. A block lasts 14 days, with each day being five hours long, meeting the state requirement of 70 hours per semester credit. During a block students are enrolled in only one class and are able to focus on just that one subject.
The Lincoln campus is made up of three buildings. The curriculum is based upon the requirements set forth by the Idaho State Board of Education. The primary focus is on academic requirements for graduation.
Lincoln High School is accredited by both the Idaho State Board of Education and the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools.
